Please read these Terms of Service ("Agreement", "Terms") carefully before using the JokeBox mobile application (the "App") operated by JokeBox. This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the App.
Intellectual Property
The App, our website and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by JokeBox and are protected by international law.
User-Generated Content
We don't think anyone owns comedy, but we need to have this here for legal purposes:
All jokes and user-generated content posted or shared through the App become the property of JokeBox. By submitting content to the App, you grant JokeBox a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content worldwide, in any media and format, for any purpose, without any obligation to credit or reward the user who submitted the content.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall JokeBox be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. By continuing to access or use our App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the App.
